Collegeville Woman Running for a Cause in New York City Marathon Fundraiser

Jessica Boyle, a graduate of Perkiomen Valley and James Madison University has  been given the amazing opportunity to run this year’s New York City Marathon on November 1st.
 Jess shares her thoughts,
” This is my first marathon, so I am very excited. I will run with the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation raising money for Margaret’s Place. Margaret’s Place is an organization that helps children in 11 different schools in NY, NJ, and CA by providing a “safe room” to talk to each other and professional counselors who are trained in domestic violence intervention and prevention. Margaret’s place provides a sense of hope and light for children struggling with violence in their lives.”
Jessica is currently in graduate school at James Madison studying to become a Special Education Teacher and a Behavior Specialist.  Jess has always had a passion for helping children and  believes a safe environment is absolutely crucial for all children.
“I am honored to be given this opportunity to complete this race and to raise money for such a meaningful and important cause. I hope to raise $3,000 and greatly appreciate any help towards that goal! Thank you so much.”
I   hope to raise $3,000 for the organization and would love any help and support. I am attaching the link below if you are able to donate. https://www.crowdrise.com/SafeAtHomeNYC2015/fundraiser/jessicaboyle2
