COLLEGEVILLE – Hundreds of children dodged, ducked and chucked their way through the 8th Annual PVSD Foundation Dodgeball Tournament held on March 4 at Perkiomen Valley High School, and in the process helped the Foundation to raise $16,062!

This year’s event, which was packed with action, PV pride and spirited competition, featured competitions among 32 student teams. Prizes were awarded to the top teams in each division, as well as to those with the best team name and the best dressed. Winners included:

Best Costume: Dodgin’ Daisies

Best Name: Daj Mabal

Grade 7-9 Team Winner: Local Legends

Grade 5-6 Team Winner: Beast Mode

Grade 3-4 Team Winner: All Stars

Grade 1-2 Team Winner: $$ballers$$

The Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that enhances and enriches educational opportunities for PV students through grants and scholarships to teachers. Last year, the Foundation supplied over $100,000 in grant funding to teachers of all levels for programs and technology used in the classroom.
