Three St. Mary School students named Neumann Scholars

St. Mary School is thrilled to announce that three of its 8th grade students have been named Neumann scholars. Congratulations to Emily Carroll, Susannah McHugh, and Michael Pirrall!Emily, Susannah, and Michael have received full 4-year scholarships to attend the Archdiocesan high school of their choice.Each year the Connelly Foundation awards approximately 35 4-year scholarships to parochial school students who excel in the scholarship exam given in January. On average, 900 eligible 8th grade students—selected on the basis of their grades and Terra Nova scores—compete each year for a Neumann scholarship.The Neumann Scholars Program is respected and recognized by prestigious colleges and universities locally and nationally, and the students are actively recruited. Since the program began in 1995, Neumann Scholars have been awarded over $109 Million in college scholarships.
